How To Design Android Music Album Arts With CorelDraw

Hi readers, it is another week with a new fantastic design, it has now become the routine to TECNO company or products that new phone come with different features especial those new phones of 5.1 Android version, I bought a new phone and I detected that whenever I am playing sounds it automatically change its background color and or images which graphic designers known has album arts, therefore we’ve decided today to take one of these album arts and teach our readers our to design it, the name for the one we took is known as (JAZZY MUSIC) though as a graphic expert we add many more items to make our design differ and more presentable than the tecno’s.

HOW TO DESIGN IT

To deign something like that ,

(1)    Open your coreldraw X4,

(2)   Create or draw a rectangle by selecting  it from toolbars make it size be 5.883x8.012 Inches as seen below

Now that you’ve selected the size, apply black color or any other color of your choice but  I recommend you use black color for the first time but remember to remove outline color.

(1)   Let’s draw the inner shape which will be done using CIRCLE but not exact circle the shape is oven shape or what is it called, at TOOLBAR again select Ellipse Tool or just press F7 directly and you will get the same result , but in order to get the shape after you might have chosen the ELLIPSE TOOL just press and hold left click and be dragging it with your second hand to left side, right side, up and down till you get the oven shape drown:

Your result must be something counterpart or else you don’t  get it, if it’s not retry it until you get it.

Now you should give it outline I mean the shape we just drown now by pressing F12 when the page displays choose 8.0pt as showing below

Let’s create the curved line you see beneath the oven shape.

(1)                    Creating lines using BEZIER TOOL:  to create line we need a tool called we can use different tools such as: Bezier, Freehand tool e.t.c but in this tutorial we are going to choose BEZIER TOOL  now from toolbar choose line tool which is number 5^th to pick tool, from there you must see many tools under it, just select your tool of  focus i.e BEZIER TOOL, see it below:

Choose that and when you have chosen it just click anywhere from the drawing page then press and (SHIFT) button now move your hand a little it the size of the line then click again to see the line you are drawing , though it will not show anything yet we need a couple process to make it show, to do that , we will give it outline size, by pressing F12, when it shows fill the box as seen below:

IMPORTANT NOTICE :  width is 8.0pt , stretch 100% , choose in corner 2^nd option, and make sure you tick (Behind Fill and Scale with Images, these two ticking are very important in anything containing outline in CorelDraw graphic designs because it will allow your works neat no matter how they zoom it on mobile or pc after exporting it to an image.

Result is:

Now take it to where it supposed to be and apply white color if you try to apply color and it doesn’t apply just press F12 again and apply white color from there, you can highlight it and copy it or move it manually.

RESULT:

(1)             Curving our line to our taste: click on TOOL SHAPE which is the second tool in CorelDraw but you must firstly click the line you drown before clicking it , now click on the tool (SHAPE TOOL) from the toolbar and then go back and click the line

But make sure you click it at middle, look up to property bar and select (Convert Line to Curve) as seen below:

First arrow navigates to convert to curve, the second arrow navigates to the middle I asked you to click previously.

When you converted it to curve result would be:

STILL ON CONVERTION……

From the two arrow seen in the above step, you will firstly take one and drag it to upper in order to convert it to upper curve line then the second the same way, see sample below:

So these are the methods to use while using BEZIER to curve.

Edit the curve and let’s continue with the remaining designs we are almost done already.

(1)    Working with Transparency:  Since we are done with the line and it’s curves now let’s us fix it and arrange it properly , You will firstly need to duplicate the curved line in to two to be used for both the bottom and the top of the design and seen in our demo above.

Select the transparency tool from the toolbar, to select it take a look at this image:

(1)   Look up and see this image:

To lighten it, light it by dragging that white minus sign, and to add to it darkness drag the same white minus to the white small box aside the green arrow.

 DRAWING THE STAR TO IT: Let’s draw and add the start by power clicking it  inside , in Toolbar Click on  (POLYGON) then select (STAR), see it below:

Now draw it anywhere you like and make settings as seen below:

In the Angle of rotation we used 80; in the  number of points or sides of polygon we use 20, then 1.0pt width and finally we used mountain fill to fill in the colors of the star

Result is:

Place it to it position using power click inside and finish editing and that’s the end of drawing .

(1)                                                             WRITE TOOL: Select from toolbar we don’t need much explanation on thIS stage because we believe you would have been familiar to the use of  WRITE TOOL before now, Therefore write your texts into places necessary and finalize your work with our final result below:
